I've been lurking this forum for a few days. I came here because of the
Humble Indie Bundle - and now I am obsessed with this game. LOL I came to find out strategies to kill the end boss in Milithril City, and the boss tips guide helped. Thank you forum contributors.
I'd like to give back.

Well, the video's finally done, but the quality is unbelievably low compared to the recording I made.

If ANYONE knows how to convert a 3,33GB FRAPS file into a good quality Youtube video, please tell me.
Youtube, while being accessible to the largest audience, is horrible for this kind of thing.
http://www.gameanyone.com/PC/Aquaria.html is much better for complete videos of games. If you had a speed run, I'd recommend
http://speeddemosarchive.com/. You don't, but somebody may find the information useful and/or upload their attempt.
For converting video formats, a process known as transcoding (useful as a search term), I have found VLC Media Player
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ to be the best combination of free, easy to use, and performs beyond expectations. If you can play your recorded video in VLC, it can be saved to a different format. Find the Streaming/Export option in the menus and go from there. I'd recommend saving the final video as H.264 encoding in the .mp4 container. That way, you can make chapter stops and even add your own captions if you so desire.
I've not converted a FRAPS capture myself, so hopefully this works for you. If not, there are other free programs that will work, but they are not as easy to use.
