I've been here ever since this place opened up... even before that, actually, if you take Derek's pre-hype machine to account.

Still waiting, how are things looking Alec and Derek? Are we going to see Aquaria this year?

This may have been asked elsewhere, but will there be a mass emailing or should we keep checking the site?

I wouldn't mind starting a mailing list. I don't really know how to though.  :-\

We'll announce that when we know for sure what it is, and not a moment before, because if we're wrong about it we'll get beaten down with the splintery wood plank with nails in it that is blog comments.

Probably the easiest way to get a mailing list would be to start a Google Groups list. Personally, though, I find it easy enough to keep abreast of things with the Bit-Blot RSS feed.

Was a complete and utter joke.
 :)

Anyway, I'm game for a mailing list. Going to start one, Alec?

Not sure if you can join from there or if you have to be invited yet...

It's set so you have to 'apply' to join. I've already done so.

I believe if you muck around in the controls you can set it to 'open'-so people can join without any confirmation by you or a moderator. I've used google groups before, but, it was awhile ago...

Excellent! Second member.  8)

You might want to post this on the ASW fourms/blogpost...

Oh, off topic, but did you know ASW hosts a IRC server and has a Aquaria channel? Usually it's only Xander and myself in there, but...
(ok, back onto topic from here on out)

Haha, good times!

I added a subscribe button to the Aquaria page too!

P.S. I was thinking about starting a #bitblot channel, but I don't know enough about running one. (like how to keep it running when I'm offline etc)

Creating an IRC channel isn't hard, from my experiences. What is hard comes afterwards, finding moderators you can trust, so the channel doesn't become insane. You don't want an excess of spammers and swearers and such. Try download mIRC, I believe that's the name, for a good IRC program.
