You've drawn Naija's macabre laugh perfectly.  :)

The look on Naija's face is totally EVIL!
REEEALLLY good  job on getting energy form looking so darn insideous. :D She looks crazy launching fireballs everywhere (just like in the game  ;D)

Umm, is it the first boss fight after getting energy form?

Seems to be that boss.  Looks to be a capture of the moment when Naija activates the energy wall, frying him.  Looks great.  It does really show her malevolent enjoyment of the fighting.

FINALLY.

Ae made fanart. :D

I might also upload a video of how I made it on YouTube. If it's okay with the creators of Aquaria I'll put music of Aquaria in the background, but if not I'll think up something else.

:D Hohho, that's awesome Naija you've drawn (or painted). Very original looking, there's somekind of realism I like very much, that serene expression as well. Reminds me of Naija pondering how to solve a puzzle which is blocking the way.

Technically I also like colouring, and how you made light and shadows. It may look simple at first glance, but it's very skillfully made. (Sorry I quote myself from DA  ::)) Music video of making that work could be an interesting idea.

And thank for the  comments concerning my work. That was my 3rd try, as previous ink-versions failed totally. One caught rain as I left it near open window, and other two versions proved to be to tricky with ink. The one I finished has all the aspects I like, for example grin on her face and that statue from Energy temple. I made lot of sketches from that place.

Next I would like to try something concerning Naija and her mother, through her memories. Maybe that small dwelling near Mithalas, where was that beautiful music. I liked that very much.

Well, unfortunately my screen recorder isn't being nice on me. Apparently it can't record for longer than 10 minutes or something and watching the whole drawing draw itself is about 15 minutes of video. This means I have to find another screen recorder than 1) doesn't place a watermark on my videos and 2) allows you to capture your computer screen for over 15 minutes (20 preferred).

I've already thought about the music I'd put under the video and I thought of using Youth, Lost To The Waves and Open Waters (this isn't set in stone, but I find those the most fitting).

Nevermind, I fixed it!

:o Like I guessed, there was great amount of work to finish that painting. Amazing skills, but generally seeing how you used layers made it look "rather" easy. Although, I think I now know the reason why I skipped painting programs... because I never realized the idea of using layers  :'(

When it comes to tutorials, videos are a way more better than pictures with text, even if it takes more time to produce one. Fascinating to see how the painting developed.

Rule #1 of digital paintings: Layers are your friends. I lost count of how many I used for Naija - I use one layer per colour in general. It might look easy and such, but it still takes skill to pick the right colours and get the shapes to look exactly right.

Agreed. Pictures with text do say something, but I find videos easier to follow because they don't overwhelm you with a wall of pictures and text.

Wooooow! Do it in English, and Alec might just use it for the "upcoming" case!

3 things I noted though:
- The Aquaria logo on the middle panel (the "back", not the verso) seems to be stretched...
- You might wanna use some official "PC CD-Rom" logo... http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/catalogue/P/136022.html
- The quotes ("Super Metroid meets Echo the Dolphin") seems to be a bit too "present": I red it before reading the game title... Perhaps some font/color/size change...

But you would change none of what I mentionned, I'd still like it! :D

Thanks for the feedback. I really stretched the logo to fit on the back...
Are you serious about Alec using it??? That would be sooooo awesome haha.
I'll make the changes you suggested as soon as possible. :)

I just made a wallpaper of a couple of forms.
Trying to capture the amazing colours that are in the game.
Still gotta finish this game though, just reached the final area, finishing up stuff. But I think I love it.

I don't know if I should have used the backgrounds though. I feel like I''m stealing... I should probs make some of my own.
Either way hope you like it.

Although the dual form Naija worries me, that expression looks distressingly like the tortured faces in The Body.
