I think it is 
The first time, I did it with a Briar Boost from just above the monkey tree on the left hand side... it was perfect, I got so much air. Now I just can't seem to replicate it. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Now it's just a race against time to see who gets a video first

Are they real then? I just got the impression that they were a part of the scenery when I spotted them

They are real.  If you dual form scream near them, you're close enough to get one to screech and start flying up.  If you could switch forms while wall clinging, you could probably get it to drop an egg by screaming at it enough, even though you wouldn't be able to get it.

Also, Fenizrael, where exactly near the monkeys are you jumping from?  Arrows would be helpful.

Oh yes thos parrots do explode I've shot one mid jump lol

The one (and only) time I made the jump, I made it from where I've got circled at the moment. I remember because I took the long way through the Sun Temple, up to the bubble where the lost memory is, then I jumped down and out of it and jumped closer towards the cliff and almost freaked out because I came close to flying off the edge and into the water. Then I said to myself "Well, this is about as close as I'm going to get" and so I briar boosted.

I've tried it countless times since (I still want to win this competition) and I just haven't been able to get the same launch speed or angle as before. Maybe it's the exact point I'm launching from, maybe it's where I'm firing the briar seed at... I'm not sure

I find it hard to do a briar jump even and the angle is very tricky to get right any way but keep trying when you are in the mood for it It's a heck of a trip getting to that spot how ever you do it and one failure is very off-putting

I was able to get a fair bit done by briar rocketing, not as much as another member who's screenshot links are all broken now ( see top of the thread link below ) and managed to take a fun parrot hunting video as well

I'm going to keep trying make the return jump, it failed yesterday but I don't give in too easy if I know it's remotely possible
