porn, artistic nude, for pleasure, fanservice, whatever...
anyways i noticed one thing. lets take this pic again:

theres a major noticeable edge: the leg/hip.
its not quite noticeable zoomed out but it doesnt look that good zoomed in.

also the shading you added after clearing her dress doesnt make sense as it isnt continuous. with this shadow najias proportions look weird... her breasts also cast a shadow!
they easiest way to make sure the shading is correct is using a real life example. you simply need a dark room with one lightsource and a large mirror/a cam(to see yourself) or someone who poses for you. the source of light should be the same as in the game, thus from the left slightly above your head and in the front of course(third person view). the original "mithalan-body.png" should help you fixing the shading :)

other than that, its fine :D

Oehr, fancy, and with the 'there was already a rule 34' I meant that there was already enough obscene stuff on the internet.
Now stop pulling in bad sides of the internet, this place is one of the few that I actually enjoy being active on. >_>
well partially its your own fault... anyways im one of the 21 people and im not proud of myself...

no more motivational rule pics, i swear, ok? but dont be so stiff and serious: its a nude mod... btw, if you need help, i could try helping you out. i worked with photoshop for some time and recently got a graphic tablet. http://oehr.deviantart.com/
though i still suck hard using it...

if i can make it work perfectly with testing and reporting, id gladly test until i die^^

none-windows apps running in bg:
firefox 3.1b2
steam
utorrent
gtalk
pidgin
rivatuner
windows enabler
avg free
logitech mouse driver tools
cherry keyboard driver tools
realtek audio driver tools
pentablet apps and driver tools
foobar2000
daemontools
oo defrag
intel raid tool
punkbuster

i often play tf2(which does run without crashes^^) and i always use the steam overlay so it might be annoying, enabling, disabling it all the time... oh joy.

my brother recently switched to vista 64bit with nearly the exact same pc specs and he also has aquaria(steam). though he didnt play aquaria yet.
back on his 32bit vista it also crashed sometimes, but not that often. i think it was the same error as im getting all the time...

also here are the list of drivers i tested(all 64bit):
182.06 WHQL (best so far, tf2 also runs much smoother than before, no difference when it comes to aquaria)
182.05
185.20
181.22 WHQL (worst drivers ever, no difference when it comes to aquaria)
181.20 WHQL (worst drivers ever, no difference when it comes to aquaria)
180.84 (used mainly/only in the demoversion, cant remember for sure)

overall:
crashes with all tested drivers. all the same when it comes to aquaria.

and whql doesnt make a difference when it comes to driver. they are simply approved by microsoft and seem to have been barely tested (awful buggy performance with 181.20 and 181.22) ... so i could care less about beta and whql!

P.S. ill keep the game. if im unable to play it now, i might be able to enjoy it in 2 years. more bufixes, a fresh windows installation and maybe some new computer components...

framebuffer disabled, steam overlay enabled, 182.06

CRASH. (after 30mins to 45mins)

log: http://ensouongaku.com/animeplanet/oehr/randomness/debug2.zip (log size: 4,66MB)

IM WILLING TO HELP FIXING THIS,
but without any "official" replies i wont post anymore. also i want my money back! i dont want to pay for a buggy, all the time crashing, unplayable game. and if theres nothing to look forward to(PATCH), i dont see a reason too keep it. i wont install another OS just to play the game without bugs! its worse than the time gothic 3 was released. though there might not be visiual bugs, but it crashes way more often!

P.S. again: game crash is always caused by crashed drivers!

well there are 3 options to choose from:
- wait for a patch that fixes this small bug
- live with it
- choose a 4:3, 16:10 or 16:9 resolution. other aspect ratios might also work, only 5:4 seems to be problematic.

it crashed with framebuffer and steam overlay enabled all the time even without the pet.

the(se) crash(es) seemed completely random, at least this time...

now checking framebuffer disabled and overlay enabled! on my beautiful new 26" full hd 1920x1200 display. lets see if my pc is fast enough to run aquaria :D

ok this time i played with framebuffer effects enabled and steam overlay disabled and it crashed after around 10 to 20mins...
heres the new debug.log:
http://ensouongaku.com/animeplanet/oehr/randomness/debug.zip

i decided to zip it because its over nearly as big as 3MB...

next test will be overlay enabled and framebuffer disabled.

P.S. now using 182.05!

i bought it via steam, so if theres no standalone 1.1.1 installation i can get, i won't be able to test it. though it seems like i can modify the files itself. i edited the

unfortunately my internet connection is pretty for redownloading the game again but steam verify didnt find any problems nor redownloaded any file(s).

i disabled framebuffer effects and steam overlay and i was finally able to play 2h straight without any crashes. i stopped after that though. my next try will be with framebuffer effects enabled again, though ill take a break first

P.S. 50% of the VGA driver finished... only another 3 hour! yay...

it often crashes when it shows an area ahead. like in the song cave. there are 4 notes you have to play in order to open the door. you find those four notes in an room with some strange feral creatures sculptures. then theres also a skulpture of the door for those who cant figure out what the notes are four. if you rightclick on it, it shows you the door. thats when the game crashed for me twice.

theres also another sculpture of a feral creature(?), though just a head. the first time you go near it, a strange laughter was played. it crashed twice here too, just because of the laughter?!

im going to school, i post a new log later on and get the new beta driver 182.05... i hope those do the trick!
