stuck on final boss... no spoilers here

i can get to the huge area where the boss is really tall, and make his eye hang out, but i don't know what to do from there.  they said that you use the sun form, i tried to do the light blast thing, but i can't get it to work... Any suggestions?

To get a straight answer, read this below.


When that eye sphere thing hangs out, you use your charged sun attack and then shoot it, when it's finally black you have to pull it off with bind.

I am at the final boss as well, and i think they should have offered a save point somewhere in the middle. We're fighting 5 bosses and i honestly don't have the nerves to waste time and redo everything multiple times when i die. I am very close to just uninstalling the game without finishing. And if not a save point, at least a checkpoint so that if you die you resume from somewhere until you exit the whole game.  If people have gotten through the first parts, don't make them go through them again. Because of that i am looking here for the strategy to beat the bosses rather than find it on my own, because i know i will have to go through everything each time i don't guess correctly.

I did it a few times due to different reasons and I don't think that the first bosses are too hard at all. If they are too hard for you, you maybe need more practice.

It's not that they are hard (infact i get by all four with only needing one +2 heal) , it's that i have to go through them again and again each time i make a mistake. I made a few mistakes on the last boss, and had to go though all four again. I always view such repetition as a waste of time and get frustrated. Anyways, i beat the last boss but after reading how to do it since i didn't want to go through the whole process for the 6th time. A checkpoint before it would've been welcome.  Still, this final boss was the only annoyance i had with the game, which is a solid 10/10 and now part of my all time favorites.

Well if you can get through the first 3 forms, and you have the jellyfish costume...then you shouldn't die.  Just keep your hand on the 1 or X key and make sure to revert after every major attack sequence.  Insta-heal.

second form is the worst, full of woe and despair. 5th form is fully doable, like Glamador said, you take a major hit and let yourself heal up. I went for jelly costume as soon as I could on second time through and it's helped invaluably ( optional sure, if you hate yourself )

even if you read up on something, it's still technically difficult, so reading up on a spoiler dosn't totally take away from how hard something can be. some of the boss puzzles are really difficult, I gave up with Mithalis and had to read up on him and it was still freakin hard.

There have actually only been 2 bosses that I found were still difficult despite knowing all strategies.  The Sun Temple Worm (although admittedly I havn't tried using spider-webs against him yet) and the Frog Prime (that one that sits on a stone totem of sorts).  Well, I say that because Frog Prime is really hard if you try and fight him without being a cheap little quitter.  I just stuck in my "safe spot" and whittled away at his health.

Also I don't count the Creator's 2nd form because he has no strategy.  JUST FIRE MADLY UNTIL HE DIES!  EVIL!!!!

The creator's second form is actually not that hard. To avoid the poison balls he spits you must run circles around the cave, non stop, with a +1 or more to speed. If you do that they will never hit you. And you keep firing at him while you're circling around, preferable with a +1 or +2 to your energy shots. Sooner or later he falls down. If he never fires his laser you shouldn't lose any health.

How about using spirit form to absorb the poisonious projectiles everytime he shoots them? The laser is also easy to avoid, you notice him charging and at that moment you just swim above his head or below his tentacles.

Well wadya know...that stops bosses more than I thought it would...I mean when YOU get stuck in it all that happens is you move slowly, not completely stop.

when I remember, try to use spiderweb on the various bosses. it's worked great there, with ghost form priests, nature form centipedes, sun worm, and interesting with jelly prime. in that instance it caught up all the little red spawn into one area and switching to beast form was a quick finish in one spot. how you spin your web will have different effects too of course, if you bundle it up like a barrier between you and the boss or if you do a loop around them to fence them in
