The golem-boss sounds just aweful, allthough I was correct from my guesses.

While at it, does the turtle in the background do anything other then looking cool? Surprise: it's in the turtle cave .

Alright guys.. I bought this game over xmas during the steam deal... and I have not played since because I had NO idea what to do..  So I am asking for help because i am looking to play this game again.

I am not far in the game at all.   I have 3 songs.   I just beat this fish boss http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=MV14MUktQ-s

I think the name is Nautilus.   and I just got this little orb pet thing which follows me around.    I have NO idea what to do now and gave up on the game because of it.

I assume you have the bind spell (a.k.a. bind song, gravity song, "pulling") and therefore have the energy (or fire) form. I spent a long time where you are in the demo - you need to look around the periphery of Home Waters (not Naija's home) to the east for a pearl. Like in the energy temple, you need to bind the pearl and bring it to a receptacle that will open a door to where you need to go (in this case, one or two tunnels up). That will give immediately give you access to approximately half the maps of Aquaria - the rest are unlocked with new skills and forms. Good luck!

That guy really is an arse - didn't he realize that the so-called "glitch" makes retrieving the second pearl in the Energy Temple so much easier? Sensationalism is frequently rewarded; however, it often backfires.

Actually, I'm right after that part that you just previously explained, Chibi, and I've no idea where to go. There's a lot of space and I'm completely lost. I found the passage with the flags, and do I go through there, or just stay in the first section, or do I go to the second statue (which I have also found) or does it not matter where I go?

Good description - adding on to it, it's best to explore the Open Waters clockwise if you don't want to do a lot of backtracking. (Make sure you explore each area thoroughly, or you might still have to go back and forth).
