Yes, there are quite a number of treasures that are harder than the krotite armor. In fact, I think the krotite armor was more time consuming than hard. ^.–

Actually I don't mean hard as in hard to get, although the arnassi crab is as hard in that sense as the final boss's 2nd form (and impossible if it pins you to one of the arnassi statues by unlucky mistake), I mean hard as in it stops more damage.

Speaking of the final boss's 2nd form, can you get out of his grip?

P.S. I was talking about Frog Prime in my last post here, and they're not frogs, they're mermogs. Kindly read the name of the cave next time. It was confusing. Call him Mermog Prime if you like. ???

Or you could call him Mermog-with-explosive-bum Prime. It suits him better. Or Mermog-sitting-on-weird-cannon-stone-thing-that-shoots-loads-of-bullets-every-so-often Prime. ^-^

The krotite armor stops damage? D:

I heard you can spin, though it's best never to get into his grip in the first place.

They look like frogs, and people are more likely to remember it as a giant frog on a stone head than a giant mermog. :3

Krotite "Armor" is just for looks.

And yes, they're mermogs, they're called that way ingame and as graphics.
God sees and knows everything, but at least he won't gossip about it.

I know they're mermogs, but if I were searching this post i would probably search by what the boss looks like, not what it "is" :3

Maybe if it listed "Mermog Prime (Looks like a giant frog on a stone head)" instead we would all be happy. :3

Well, regardless, the crab armor does stop damage, so it's best to wear that before tackling something hard dangerous.

And I thank you for that tip on the final boss, the ingame help guide did say that spinning is used in various ways. Especially in getting rid of those leech things you find in dark areas. ;)

I was sort of curious... does the crab suit block damage only in the base form or does it block damage in various transformed states?

I sort of assumed that it only blocks damage in the base form , but I haven't really tested it.

I think my favorite costume utility-wise is the jelly costume from King Jelly (the one that looks like you have a Metroid on your head). If you are in base form and below 50% health, it heals .5/sec until you hit 50% of your max life. Super useful for learning some of those boss fights.

Armor only affects you in default form, where it's visible.

Figured as much. Jelly suit is definitely the go-to suit then.

Jelly suit is probably the most useful costume in the game. xD

But a Metroid isn't supposed to sit on someone's head! xD
