Possible bug..? *possible spoilers*

I saved my game last night in the Sun Temple, just before heading towards the boss room, but when I started Aquaria this morning, I found that I'm trapped in Energy form, and unable to attack. I can switch back to Naija's normal form, but then I'm unable to sing. This glitch not only happened on the one save I had at that area in the temple, but it also carried over to my other saves as well. I was still carrying the item to get you through the dark area when I saved, if that may have any impact on the cause.. Is there any way to fix this, or am I going to have to start over? None of the keyboard shortcuts work either..

If you just restart the game and load your file does it work again?

Each time I've restarted, it's had me stuck in the energy form still. Should I just keep trying?

I don't know... it just... works for me.

I can press any of the hot keys to change forms. I can press 'X' to get out.

Did you change the input config somehow?

Not that I'm aware of, I just started the game as I normally do this morning. Is there something I should check, to make sure?

Hrm... is there a chance that you installed anything weird on your computer or changed your configuration since last time?

You may want to try uninstalling + reinstalling the game and seeing if that makes a difference for some reason. (that would restore the default settings)

The only thing I've done since last night is install the latest Patch for Aquaria, but I did that after the controlls seemed to stop working.

Checking over the Aquaria Configuration, everything looks the same as I last saw it, so I'll try reinstalling the game.

So it seems like the patch messed it up for you? That's weird.

Maybe I can just reactivate your download and you get the all-in-one new version.


Hrm... to do that you'd actually have to have bought the game though.

It was messed up before the patch, sorry for the misunderstanding. I was just saying that that's all that I've done differently today.

I experienced a annoying thing on the same place. I saved my game and when restarting I found my little heroin at the surface of the room half filled with water, just below where you have to jump up the tube and into the room with the clockworks. Everything else works fine, shortcuts and all, but aren't you supposed to continue the game on exactly the same spot where you left it (=the upper red crystal in the sun temple)?

Really annoying since the climb is quite difficult.

I'm afraid that the climb is necessary to get the Sun Form from its respective boss; _{and make sure you spell "female hero" as heroine, not heroin.}
