Gotta say, can't wait for the game and congrats about GDC! I keep an ear to the ground on the indie scene and there's somethat that caught my eye.

Looks very much like the Aquaria poster? This one was uploaded in Jan which sorta predates Aquaria's poster (on Derek's site).

The same team did this game from a few years back too. Not saying they're the same but they do look similar, albeit with graphics at horrific 90

Yeah man, neither of these looks particularly Aquaria-esque to me...that poster image uses a similar angle to the Aquaria poster, but c'mon, that's a pretty tenuous connection. I did a painting six years ago involving the sun viewed at a similar angle that doesn't have anything to do with Aquaria either.

BREAKING NEWS: SOURCES INDICATE THAT, SOMETIME PRIOR TO 2007, SOMEBODY MADE A GAME SET UNDERWATER, ALSO ANOTHER GUY MIGHT'VE DRAWN A PICTURE OF THE SKY IN PHOTOSHOP USING SINGLE-POINT PERSPECTIVE.

This Topic started with a link to Satan Sams page. I absolutely disagree with the one that said that he made a gme similar to aquaria. But I know his page for a while and he has no team - all his games are made just by him. And they're not bad. His current project is Tormishire - a very promising metroidvanian adventure. Maybe you should check him out if you got nothing else to do than hit the F5 button to look if aquaria is released.
