I found that what  was easiest for me was to place my self against the floor.

Two options, easy one first

1.)  Blast her while shes bouncing around the room, if you're hanging on the floor or swimming close enough, she cant hit you. When she switches back into her alcove to launch her missile barrage at you, switch to Nadjia and use the shield spell. Most blasts will miss you and the few that do, reflect off.

2.) There is a perfection position on the floor, as mentioned above, that her missiles actually can't hit you due to the arc they have to make. Attach there and blast away in energy mode.

Either way, its a fairly long battle since most of your shots miss her when she's floating around, but if you beef up on Volcano rolls, or spicy rolls, she won't take long at all.

I didn't try it this way, but I'd try to shield myself with the shield song.

What I did is the following:  you go behind it (right side of the room) in nature form.  Since you're so close to walls, not many of its projectiles will touch you.  The boss will stays near to the wall for a long time when it shoots its projectiles,  so you can plant some spiked plants on the wall near it and let the boss push itself in the torns.

edit:  I forgot to say, you stay in the right "corner" and use thorny plants until she starts using her lasers.  When she do it, just shoot her like crazy.

Best way to avoid being hit by her laser beam attack is to drop to the floor of the cave. She can't drop low enough for her laser to hit.

I found this to be one of the easiest bosses for me.  Maybe it was just cause I was strong when I got there.  For the first half I just stuck on the floor next to a bulb and just fired shots straight out till it died (you cant even get hurt) Then for the second form, I stuck to the ceiling and wailed away at its head.  In the second part, you get a head but here and there, but nothing that requires healing if you didnt get hurt in first half.

Neither the topic name, nor the posts told me about which boss you are talking... :P
Sometimes I thought endboss, but then it is refered as "she", etc... I don't think I heard the name murmogcave before so, guys, tell me. ;)

I think they are talking about that boss that rides that statue. It gives you a pet as a reward.

The deceptively easy thing about it is that it actually has relatively low health - so it seems anyway as you're able to get a fair few hits in through his pattern unlike certain other bosses.  As he's bouncing around get to the top of the cave, chug any energy form+ food and smash right-click for all you're worth, it should go down surprisingly quickly.

Personally, I just stuck to nature form and filled the place with cactus. They would serve as both shield and boss killer.
