Aquaria fanart [spoilers]

wooo I finally finished this one 



so for this one I wanted to depict a sense of affection and some of the more joyful aspects of the game. this is by no means my favourite outfit but it suited the tone of scene and it was a treat to try and depict it ( this would be the first actual Naija I've drawn  )  here's a link to the full size

I've been sort of tied up with other arty projects as of recently but am still on my tour of duty exploring the many facets of our favourite mermaid, next one will be the bizness end of the stick

Wow....I can't say I "like" it, it kinda gives me the creeps.  But it's a fantastic piece and I love your use of the Mithala plushie.  I'd totally buy one of those.  Hint hint Alec.

thanks    and maybe it creeps you out Glam because it's a portrait of you   Naija in all her lovely, princess sweetness hugging a stuffy of horrible, goggle eyed, tentacly, toxic coloured worm was part of the disturbing disparity that I took away from the game, so if it creeped you out I guess it was sort of successful?

this picture took a few stages, with some of the pencil stages being mangled with on the computer, being resized, flipped, tilted so that was a fun experiment. here's few of the pencil sketches

Oh wow inkblob that is a fantastic painting, it made me laught also, especially after just beating it in my first encounter with Mythala 

This was a tiny little watercolour sketch i painted a couple of weeks ago and posted into the wrong place sorry

Hahaha, inkblob... you made the Sun Worm look very cute, in a grotesque sort of way.  That is an awesome illustration.

I really like your watercolor, too, silverflagon.  I think it captures a certain ethereal quality to Naija that I really like.  She looks very young, too!

Thank you Derek I do have a full image waiting for me to apply it to canvas sometime but I'm afraid that Aquaria has kind of taken over my life at the moment  lol
I would love to do it digitally but it's just not possible so I am considering getting out my acrylics instead.
