Aquaria fanart [spoilers]

Well, I know this isn't visual art per se, but I'd feel like I'm marketing myself too much with a whole new thread on this. I'm part of the video game remixing community, but instead of doing an arrangement of one of Aquaria's tracks, I wrote an original track inspired by and in the style of the soundtrack:

What's up with the watermark?  Copyright?  I can't save the picture...Has deviantart changed is standard operating procedures or did you do that?

Right click, view image,  then save it. And as far as I know DA always had watermarking.
If that dun work: Big watermarked version and Smaller unmarked version.

EDIT: And you could always ask aerendyll very nicely to host it on photobucket so we can all get it unmarked, seeing a few people here collect thems.

Well whenever I went to save the picture it would save "blank.jpg" which is code for "there's something else covering this image so you can't get to it" and DeviantArt usually doens't do that.  I don't like to have to visit a website to see pictures, I just save them to My Pictures and peruse at my liesure later.

Glad you like it! If it were to be an actual Aquaria level, I would think of it as something akin to the Veil, but during dusk or night - with singing humpback whales and schools of bioluminescent fish

I'm sorry for the watermark, guys, but I'm kind of worried for art thieves. I don't know where I can safely put up my work and stuff, hence the watermark.

I can send the non-watermark picture to people by email, though.

Art thieves?  That would do what?  Sell copies for 10 million dollars on the black market?  Anyway, I don't really need a copy of the black & white image, but if you ever color it I'd love to have that.

probably more concerned about people claiming ownership and that they made the drawing.  I've heard of this sheer oddness happening but never run into personally ( you can take that good and bad, good it didn't happen, bad that you didn't make anything that anyone wanted to steal and say they made )

Woah! Ubik, you gotta do more of that! It's stuff like this that keeps me alive untill the sound track is released. It sucks having to listen to the few songs I have on loop for ages... But I do love the 'Seven days remix".

(And that peaceful art there is good too, more of an indication of what it might be to play than some of the other art out there.)

Art theives are a problem but not so much so for a drawing, but ideas can be stolen but that is the chance we have to take or forget about sharing art altogether???

No they don't make millions glamadour but it is still done and it's still upsetting to the person who's worked hard on their art to have someone else use it without asking.

Now if I can't help out with a poser figure then perhaps I might give you just one pointer? Don't continue painting the underside of her right foot because in that postion and angle we wouldn't see it just the top. I hope it's not too late for this also?
