Full screen broken after tabbing out?

I tabbed (alt-tab) out of the game earlier while it was running in full-screen mode.  When I tabbed back to the game, it came back in a window.  Now I can't get the game to run in full screen no matter what I do.

That's odd.  I've alt+tabbed a lot of times, never had an issue.  Did you check the properties of the shortcut to see if something got weird in there?  That seems unlikely, but I can't think of anything else.

Yeah, I checked that.  I also tried launching the executable directly.  Still no luck either way.  It really is such an odd bug.

What about ALT+Enter?

That doesn't work either, though it does blank the screen momentarily then comes back in a window.  It's almost like it changes to fullscreen and then immediately changes back.

Every time i alt+tab out and try to go back in game the game completely crashes.

This allso happens when i get an instant message from one of my friends

I run vista so that may be the problem *shrugs*
