Help needed to beat a small boss

It's the Jelly King in the western part of Abyss.
I tried to hit the eyeball using the energy form, but it doesn't work. I also used the beast form to eat the small jelly it released, but it seemed never end. Can anyone tell me how I can make some damage to it?

Well, the Jelly king has some sort of protection around his eye, there's only one opening, try there.

I find it extremely hard to dodge all the little jellys, especially since after a few seconds there are tons (easily more then 20).
Any tricks or secret tactics? Because these little jellys are really annoying.

Eat them from time to time.

First, if you aren't already, use shortcuts, I found out about them when i was halfway through the game.
Second, if there are beginning to appear more then about 12 or so, do not count them, just when there are a bit too much to handle, eat them in beast mode, then quickly turn back to energy form. Oh and I don't know if you already have someone following you, but if you do, try to stay in beast mode and survive while the other kills the jellyfish, even though this takes ALOT of time, patience and skills, seeing those lasers are hard to avoid with the small critters aroudn you too.

I just stayed in beast form and kept using that spicy soup stuff, halfway through the second one he died.  That stuff is really powerful, you just have to conserve your shots

Oh, Thank you. I finally defeat it. It's much easier to use the dual form.
