Spoilers in avatars/sigs

Can you do something about spoiler images in avatars/sigs, please? I had a friend just ask if this guy's avatar was real and I wasn't sure what to tell him :(. Either YES IT IS and ruin the game or NO IT ISN'T and lie :(.

So yeah, can we disallow them? At least until the game is a little older :(.

Hmm, for the time being, you can go to Profile/Look and Layout Preferences and check "don't show users' avatars" and "don't show users' signatures."

Oh wow. Glad I got past the point where that could have been a spoiler for me. I've been trying to avoid spoilers and complete the game quickly. But I don't really want to rush...

Yeah, I basically beat it in one 16-hour sitting before coming here just so nothing would be spoiled :D.

But yeah, for those of us less strong-willed against coming to forums and looking at pictures, a rule against spoileriffic avs/sigs would be nice. I've told all my friends to turn off sigs/avatars if they come here, but yeah I'm sure there are some people who wont :x.

Interesting thought.  It never really occurred to me... but hopefully what I've got can't be considered a spoiler?  I mean, I guess it could be considered seeing something you might not have yet seen in the game, but I don't think it qualifies as a spoiler.  If you feel otherwise, though, let me know and I'll change it post haste.

EDIT: But wait, Isn't like EVERY screen taken from the game a spoiler?

No, Alphasoldier, not really. Stuff that has no bearing on the story is probably fine? I don't think people would care if they saw a jellyfish or a horseshoe crab or whatever.

Seeing a human, especially one cuddling Naija is a pretty big spoiler, though :D.

Well, seeing... erm, SPOILER ALERT


That you can cuddle with Li anytime you want when you found him which I did right when I came to the Veil, I didn't thought it would be THAT big of a spoiler.. But I guess the people who haven't played it yet does get spoiled for.

I'll keep it in the back for when it IS allowed.

Yeah, a lot of people had no idea he'd be in the game.  I sort of half knew by accident, but it was still something of a surprise to see him in the game and see how he worked.

Yeah, no worries, I wasn't like ATTACKING YOU personally with this topic or anything, I just wanted to know the official stance on it.

So yeah, I guess if we see anymore we report them or what?
