Installing on windows and linux

Sorry if this has been duplicated somewhere, but a search for "linux" didn't seem to help. I played through the demo in wine and then bought the full version. I installed it on windows and registered, then tried to play that install through wine on linux (this is the same thing that I did with the demo). It asked me to register again, but this time the fields just went blank when I attempted to. Is this just the copy protection being crazy or is there something up with registering through wine?

I had the same problem. It's to do with wine's crappy Gecko support, I guess. This post has a link to a patch which worked perfectly for me.
