Laptop Video 2Go has drivers for you!!

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com

You'll have to go to browse the forum (no registration necessary) for the latest driver that matches your operating system. They've provided tutorials to get you started, and it's a very easy process to update your driver.

Getting Started Guide: http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=9243

For example, I have a new Laptop from Dell, it's a month old. It has a Nvidia 8600m GT for a video card. The latest drivers for it from Dell (released Oct. 07) were based on drivers from Nvidia that are more than five months old. I've now updated my drivers to the most recent version and Aquaria runs like a dream now! It ran fine before, but a bit choppy. The choppiness is now gone, also I'm running at 1920x1200 it is gorgeous!!

Enjoy everyone!

Please sticky this ^-^

No problem Xenonym!

I really don't understand what the laptop manufacturers have to benefit by creating their own drivers. Especially when the Nvidia drivers work just fine on the laptop cards, but Dell etc. won't allow Nvidia to release them for laptops. It makes absolutely no sense in my  mind. Can anyone shed any light?

I have an 8600M GT on my Macbook Pro, and I noticed everything worked like a dream when I was using the default Boot Camp drivers. When I updated to a newer graphics card driver, I got back my old problem of Aquaria crashing when I try to run it...

Boot Camp uses special Mac-only drivers!

Yup...but the thing is, there are much better drivers for the 8600M GT when it comes to better performance. When I changed to the newest Nvidia drivers, I saw a huge increase in performance in games such as Oblivion, F.E.A.R, etc.
Oh well, I'll just have to switch back and forth as necessary. Right now, Aquaria is my priority as it is so damn good. It even converted my 2D hating friends into 2D lovers.

I find it odd that it crashes though, as everything else works fine.

No, they are using Old branded nvidia drivers. It is just usual stock mobile drivers really. The new drivers seem to crash tough, have experienced the same problem over and over.

I believe a saw a fix to it in another thread, correct me if i'm wrong. Haven't played the game at all so far because i can't get the demo working

So has anyone been able to get Aquaria working on Boot Camp with laptop2go drivers or is reverting back the only solution?
