Map notes

So far I love Aquaria.  Its one of the better games i've played in a while.  But it desperatley needs a map note feature.  I'm kind of stuck right now and its rather annoying swimming all the way to an unexplored area to be remineded that I cant access this area because I dont have the correct power.  The option to put a note on the map like "wall of steam" would help save me a lot of useless backtracking.

I agree.  I usually don't use map notes in games, but this game really needs one to keep note of all those places that aren't specially marked by the game.

This has been suggested quite a few times already and I'm sure Alec and Derek are aware of it now :)

Hopefully in a patch sometime soon we'll see it.

Would also be nice if you could see in which areas of the map you've already been, in particular for parts of the world you aren't currently in.
Hope somebody understands what I want ;)

I think all of us want that.  I haven't really had a problem with the way it is now, but there have definitely been times when I didn't realize there was a portion of a map I'd been to previously I that I'd neglected to explore.  I'd rather they just tossed out "highlighting" the area you're currently in, as it isn't a problem figuring out where you currently are, and just used the usual colors to display what was explored and what wasn't.  There's probably a more elegant method that could be taken, but I'd be happy with even that.

Still, it hasn't bugged me all that much.  The maps are unique enough that I feel I generally have a good hold on their layouts even without using the map constantly.
