How do I defeat the final boss?

More specifically, the fifth, the giant, form? I destroyed the eye but nothing seems to work now.

I'm currently piling up on healing items before I even go near him again. Not going to go in there without at least 8 Arcane Polutices and the ingredients to make 8 additional ones <.<

What was killing you, Andy? The Eye had me stumped the longest, but like most bosses, once you figure out the trick, the execution is fairly simple.

The hardest part is easily his chest cavity.

Then again I was stuttering like mad so that probably made it 50 times harder.

What exactly does it do, anyway. It wasn't having any visible effect for me :/

The Jelly Costume will automatically start healing you when you get low on health.  It'll heal you enough to about the point where the screen is no longer flashing.

You use each form during the final encounter (except.. well, except two I think).

Switch to other forms and "attack" his eye once it's popped out like that. One of them will do something (you have to look closely to notice it however).

Just in case you didn't really destroy the eye: use the sun form on the eye, then shoot at it and finally pull it out with Bind.

Afterwards switch to fusion form and shoot at the face in the stomach when it opens. Then kill the creatures that appear until you can use the superattack. Three or four superattacks should kill him.

Ah thanks. I had shot the face but obviously not enough before I got hit with the massive beam thing.
