Stuck behind a boulder in demo
« on: December 10, 2007, 02:55:49 am »
Hi
In the cave where you get the move object-song there is a small hole (with an eggshaped jewel thing) blocked by a boulder. If you move the boulder and swim into the hole without dropping the boulder it gets stuck in the opening and I can't find a way to get out. Is it a bug or is there some way to get out of there?  :-\

I had the same problem, and I felt like an idiot ;p
I tried pushing my way through multiple times, but I'd always hit the rock.  But after some twenty tries going through, usually pushing through the cracks, I went right through the rock in the middle.  Remember to have that spell on when trying to go through the middle of the rock.  Good luck!

Hmm, if that's how you got out then I don't think this is suposed to happen.
Thanks for the tip.  :)

If you have the Bind spell active, then you can swim through whatever object you've Bound regardless of its position, and regardless of whether you'd normally take damage from it(!).

This is useful for simply sealing off a cavern after you've bound the applicable boulder, to prevent enemies from entering.  (You can also play about with smacking enemies around with said boulder.  Great fun!)

I guess the bind spell is the one that moves stuff and no, I can't swim through boulders with the spell active, not in the demo anyway.

You should be able to, but you might have to "boost" through. Make sure the offending rock is bound and click far away from naija to boost.

Ok, I'll give it a try.

Ok, that worked. Funny that I never tried to boost through... :s
Say, what does that egg thing do? I can't interact with it it seems.
