stuck on boss (spoilers)

So I went through the chapel and killed the three eye bosses.  I continued despite the fact that Najia declares she is probably not strong enough for this area.  I've tried several lengthy times to defeat the enormous boss at the end of the caves after the chapel.  I have only the energy form and the nature form, and have only found two life enhancers.  Am I just not strong enough for this part, or am I doing something wrong?  I tried to get the boss to eat the poisonous creatures, to no avail.  Can anyone give me any pointers?

you are on the right track of making him eat the poisonous creatures....he'll only eat things though when he is pushed all the way back of the cave.

haha Congrats....that was a tough one to figure out....I got help for it as well.

Beast Form is fun.....gobble some schools of fish to gain back some life

I just got to the octopus-thingee boss after beating the boss in the Sun Temple.  I couldn't damage him at all.  Does anyone have any pointers?

You have to get close to him to find his weak point. Biggest hint I can give without giving it away. :p

Yeah I'm having some serious issues with the boss as well, after he eats the first poisonous creature nothing else happens.

Swim to the fumes (but not into them) and avoid his attacks, eventually he will spawn another creature, which you will then have to lead into the fumes to become poisonous, too. Remember that he has to be at the very back for the room to start inhaling stuff, so you'll have to push him back again.

What's a precise stragedy, because I keep trying to follow that and I keep getting killed. Unfortunately I don't have much items to help and heal me.  The farthest I got was feeing him three of them.

I can't remember if it were 3 or 4, but after you fed him enough creatures, everything gets all red, his eyes get black and the music goes all hectic. From that point, just shoot the hell out of him and avoid his attacks.
Sadly, I don't exactly have the best strategy to feed him, either. I just bind the creatures, change to energy form, blast him back until he inhales, and then try to dirigate the binded creature to hit him before I do. It's pretty much a 50-50 gamble of success :p

I found the easiest way to feed him was bind, energy form, blast while moving towards him, unbind while he's stepping back, cling to the dip in the ceiling and blast him until he inhales. I was able to pull that off three times without taking damage, and after that just dodge and fire - you should still have just about enough health that you can kill him without needing to heal.
