Bubble cave boss desperated me

Hi,

I am trying to master the crab in the bubble cave. I have watched the videos on you-tube, so I should know how to do it, but I cannot handle it. 
I have tried it for hours (or maybe days?) but I am not willing to give up.

Can anyobody help me? Is there an easier way to defeat him?

Hello and welcome!
Which controls do you use? Shortcuts and mouse? Because if you use a touchpad or don't use the shortcuts for the forms it is nearly impossible to time right.

The steps should be clear:
1. You bind one of his bombs
2. You shoot a briar under the Mantis Crab's ass so that he falls down
3. You let the bomb explode next to him.
4. Repeat four (?) times
5. Profit

Also there are some huggies in there somewhere. Get them first for the free healing.

"Huggies" being little tadpoles that attach to your body when you sing the note of their eye color and they'll heal when on you, be sure not to spin or wear something that'll hurt them or they'll go byebye.

also if you have defeated king Jelly first, the jellyfish costume helps as it heals you when you're health gets too low.
