It's not that we're better, it's just that we're less worse~ (Song by Arrogant Worms that's talking about how it's good to be Canadian)

Wow... getting some fond memories of Victoria Beach.

Found someone's childhood memories of Victoria Beach online. They also moved away from Winnipeg, heading west.

I think I see Naija in the surf there :P

The ultimate spoiler, Naija is Canadian.

Wow, you did better than I did. I just pinned she was Canadian, Southern Ablerta? Are you sure. It has to be near the ocean or she cant reach the sea.

I know, but acknowledging that wouldn't have been as:

a) Silly

b) fun

Missed this topic somehow...

I'm from a small town in Alberta called Westlock. Very close to Edmonton ^-^
Although, I'm straight up Saskatchewan born! Glad to be out of the craphole I used to call home.... Moose Jaw!

I'm not really from Canada, but visiting a seminar called "Performing ethnicity in early-20th-century Canada" this semester.
Then I've also watched this Canadian TV-Series called "Slings & Arrows" which I loved (and still love, still have the 3rd season left).

These were more or less the only contacts I had with Canada and Canadian culture (except maybe for Rodney McKay).
Propably more than the average American (I'm not American).
