CD option just a vanilla CD-R?
« on: February 02, 2010, 09:01:36 pm »
Hi there,

I noticed there's a CD option when buying the game, and was wondering if it's just a plain CD-R with the downloaded file on it, or maybe it's different in some way? Different in that it installs from the CD perhaps, and maybe has additional files on the disc, that kind of thing.

It's the exact same content - on a shiny new unlabled disc.  ;) I would download directly if you have regular access to the internet. If not, and you have reasons to worry about your hard drive's safety, then go for a physical copy. The CD contains the same installer as the digital version AFAIK.

[EDIT]: Alec and Derek receive a bigger cut of purchases on the official Aquaria website, so buy it from there. It's for a good car cause.  8)

Thanks, that's just what I wanted clearing up. I'll buy it from the website in 1-2 days time.
