I guess it's just fair to continue this thread with the same issue. And for Digeridude, I have to say that this speaks on behalf of itself;
In all honesty, twenty of the best hours of my life
- so definitely no need to question the main point of this thread you started

. I believe many have pondered if they should to the same

... like Kdansky and me, for example... during this half year since I saw the first ending.
What a magical journey it really was, and now I have to use the past tense, as I finally found all the memories and saw the alternative ending (well, my bro insisted me to play it to the end). It's really hard to discribe this feeling with words. For sure I can quote Digeridude and say "I haven't spent such a quality time with a game for many years" and hope it tells all relevant aspects. The music, the level and character design, puzzles, singing mechanics, voice acting and the melancholic story itself created an truly amazing atmosphere. I experienced many touching moments while adventuring with Naija, so you can call me a softie too.
Personally I liked the parts most where Naija was alone exploring the "new world", as it had a deep impact to story and atmosphere. It was exciting to visit new areas and ruins, all with different kind of fauna and flora. The city of Mithalas was the pinnacle to me, some real evidences from her past.
I also have to mention an interesting fact, that a reviewer of the finnish gaming magazine (Pelit) really transfered his enthusiasm to readers. It was a surprise, like to me, that a wonderful game like Aquaria appeared totally "out of the blue". I pondered if I should have posted a link to PDF format of that review (as they have transfered it to digital format from paper version, and its free to use), but 1) it's finnish and 2) I'm sure the developers (and hardcore Aquarians) have already seen everything possible considering Aquaria

.
I count Aquaria among the greatest games such as The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time, Majoras Mask and Shadow of the Colossus. I guess time has a very little effect to these pearls.
So, thank you for Aquaria. As you can see, no negative aspects at all. Only shame is that the idea of OST is most likely buried, and that "To be continued" will continue... much later

... Of course I know that the amount of work is huge (without knowing anything about game developing/music making), and that the net income is relatively small if you compare it to efforts it required. So basically, a matter of ideals and principles. Still, its unfair to say "if you only had enough money" as ideals clearly needs time to mature. And developers naturally have more projects and interests which to concentrate. But even if the child is troublesome and tiring sometimes, parents still love him... so I hope, someday we can continue adventures in Aquaria.
