stuck after energy temple boss…

Hello all, DL'd the demo the other night and dragged myself into work after far too little sleep… I think I like this game.

Sorry to start with an "I'm stuck" question - but after I defeated the energy temple boss, the big lion thing (don't get why there are so many topics about it, all you have to do is watch Return of the Jedi!), I'm completely stuck and have wandered around everywhere. There seems to be a dog-door thing north of the boss where I'm supposed to put a pearl in, but I can't find a pearl anywhere near the dead boss, just a tooth.

Searched the forums and didn't find anything about this, so is it a bug?

Not a bug; you won't be able to complete this puzzle until later in the game, when you get a later form.
You can just leave the temple now and explore other areas

The red flower contains the pearl you need, but as Nava says, you'll be able to open it later.

Ahhhhh, I see, thanks, I was just not sure if it was some sort of bug (happens with even the best demos). Well now I've managed to finish the demo...

I think you'll be glad to hear this - you can transfer saves between the demo and the full version. There's a utility that Alec designed for the purpose. Also, the demo exhibits only 10 percent of Aquaria.

Oh and the utility is automatic when installing, you only have to say yes or no. ^^
