Hi folks, Alec here - as of December 7, Aquaria has been released for a year. We want to thank all the people who chose to buy the game and support us. You’re the reason we’re still around, and we really appreciate it. You’re also the reason why we’ve been able to continue to work on improving the game, and soon you’ll be able to experience the result of those efforts.

This weekend we’ll release the new Windows version of Aquaria, 1.1.1. This version includes widescreen, graphics and audio enhancements, improved puzzles, a new/awesome map system and more. It even improves on the recently released Mac version - and it will be released at a new price.

And last but not least, we’ve made a new trailer to celebrate. This one was made in 1280×720, and looks absolutely gorgeous. The files involved in making it are taking up about 82GB of my hard drive! You can check out the embedded video here at standard def, but head to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBHemKy81Ms) or Vimeo for the option to watch it in HD. If you want the original source AVI file, just send me an email and I’ll hook you up.

I've been beta testing the Windows patch and can tell you that it's definitely worth the wait. Alec's done some awesome work on it, and it has some new graphics from Derek, too. *joins the group e-hug*

When you bought the game (I suppose you did?), you got something like that:

Registration Name: Xiagan
Registration Key: 0330KA-4X17P4-YQ44IT-YOUR2B-OWL294

That's your purchase information.

When you bought the game, you didn't download the game immediately. Instead, you were emailed the purchase code (an alphanumeric code) to enter in the appropriate place on the Bit-Blot page (link in email). If you didn't keep the purchase code, you might be in trouble, but Alec's usually good about these things (so an email address might be enough). Good luck acquiring the patch!

that really dosn't seem like something that should be posted publically  , even if it can't be used to register the program it would give a cracker in the know a clue on what sort of security is being used? I'm not versed in such things so if I'm offbase then disregard my fretting.

I doubt that Xiagan is that naive; besides, there were two words inside the code (your and owl). It's probably just a fabrication.

Lol, im a 14-year-old, and for documentation purposed my father put the purchase under his name and email, and I dont his password. So it looks like ill have to wait till another time. XP
