We should mabe make a list of things talked about in this topic, because the title isn't helping at all anymore. ;)

Dream Bit, so that's it! I wonder what/when comes next! :)

Oh, and from the sounds of things you use that name often Quem?

Yeah, Hiro, I've been using this for years now.  It was my handle back when I first got into playing the original Quake, went through my 2-year term as managing editor of AOG, a now-defunct community game/journalism site, and is what I still use in whatever I'm doing now at Overwritten.net or any places I occasionally do freelance writing for (few and far between these days).

How did you come up with the name, Quemaqua? I created Sibilante as a combination between vigilante and sibilant.

I usually lie and create elaborate stories, or tell people it's some word in an obscure language, but I actually can't remember anything about how I came up with it.  I think it was probably quite arbitrarily constructed and just sort of stuck, heh.  The only thing I'm sure of is that the Q came from my obsession with Quake.  That much hasn't really changed.  I suck compared to everyone else on Quake Live right now, but I'll be damned if it isn't good times.

Nick explaining thread? I always wonder where "Alec" came from and how he came up with it. ;)

It actually originally meant Defender Of The People. Weird, eh?  ;) Okay, lets kill this topic for good.  ;D

I never really could get into Quake... My preference back in the day was Doom II. Sure it wasn't really 3D, but damn that multi-player was addicting. I pretty much jumped from Doom II to Unreal Tournament as far as fps games go.  So what is the topic going to be here anyways... we could just always name it.... [Random] ... but I think we should bring the topic back around to something Aquaria related since it is in the General section for Aquaria...

How did I do dat :o :o After all I read more topics than I reply to ? ::) How did he dream up Alec.. Chibi :o lol

I like the alias chosen by people on this forum, it shows good taste, don't know about my own though, that was mainly because I love silver (not just jewelery) and flagon just seemed to tag on nicely. As well as loving art and games I also love antiques you see, anyone got some original Lalique glass going spare? :D lol
