Simon Says Boss

I realize that I am not the only person who has ever been frustrated by this boss, but I think it is impossible to beat with the setup I have.  I play on a Mac.  It is just impossible to move the mouse fast enough to sing eight notes within the time limits.  I have no way to sing using the number keys.  I can't find anyway to sing with anything on the keyboard.  I have no trouble remembering 8 notes, I just can't move the mouse fast enough, the time limit is so short.  I think if I could sing using the number keys I could do it.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Yeah, Simon Hard is really hard to beat with a trackpad. My only advice would be to buy a separate mouse, and use that to defeat the wily Simon. The boss is hard even with the better setup, though you could PM me your save file and let me do it if you can't upgrade.  _{I don't know if save files are transferable between Macs and PCs.}

becky i use a mac and wireless mouse..... and i beat simon says!
however was there for 2 hours solid on doing so! for me i couldn't remember the notes.... but i believe the songs got progressively easier!

I remember the tune but I still hit the wrong notes when they get passed six notes lol I gave up on this boss as he seems to be an impossible one for my short term memory span

I paused it a lot and wrote down the notes. I used a gamepad so I didn't have to look at the screen when singing the notes.

Yes I tried it that way also and I still hit the wrong notes even with them written down in front of me, my dexterity is not very brilliant and that is why I always say the if I can do it then so can others. (unless they have worse hand problems than I do?)

just place naija right there where simon is
this way simons "balls" and naijas symbols coincide and you only have to remember the shape you have to draw on the screen

That's not the best way to do it.  Naija's song wheel blocks the eyestalks of the boss and the only way to solve this dilemma is to release right-click (or whatever the button is on the mac).  However, if Simon's pattern just so happens to overlap a known transformation song then you will be transformed when you release the song wheel.

Just hit escape and the menu comes up, that pauses it and you can write the sequence down or take longer to memorise it For those more dexterous than myself this should help a great deal

Do you get anything for beating him more than once?

Yeah, but really mundane items (small eggs, oils). It's a little anticlimactic.

For some reason I didn't find this guy to be hard... I don't know what it was. Maybe I'm just somehow good at remembering the sounds and what notes they are..? I wouldn't think I was better than average though.. Maybe my computer just runs Aquaria slower xD. Its not a great machine..

Either way, it'd still suck if you don't have an external mouse. x.x Good luck.
