I see no excuse for having your own dressing up party and why not make it an event for raising funds for your college's favourite charity while your doing that Glamador, then no one can make fun of you :D

Hey that's from one of my favourite Star Trek films Robert, I do so love that part on the bus. It's far fetched I know but who cares it's a fun movie :D

Men where pink shirts, in fact more big business men wear pink shirts than you would realise, perhaps because in their situation no one would dare say anything to them?

I believe the correct term is Piratical, my dear Danger Mouse. (As in the children's book The Great Piratical Rumbustification illustrated by Quentin Blake (from the Roald Dahl books)

Sorry for the snipe, I couldn't help it.  ;)

{EDIT}

My point exactly. Thanks, Silverflagon!

How did I know that was a Dahl book before I even read what you typed saying it was.  His books always have such interesting titles.  They sound like they could be real, but it's that kind of sound that makes you do a double take in a "that's not really a word is it?" kind of way.

Chibi: Let me correct you, there is no such word for what I was describing, as in TALKING like a pirate.

The word you are talking is defined in dictionaries as an adjective to describe the act of piracy. If you want the exact definition of the word you were trying to correct me with, here it is:

Adj.   1.   piratical - characteristic of pirates; "piratical attackers"
                2.   piratical - characteristic of piracy; "piratical editions of my book"

resource: http://www.thefreedictionary.com/piratical

You can find the same definition at all the major online dictionaries, including websters.

So, :P

I was simply pulling your leg off and replacing with a peg leg, ARRRR!  :P XD

Here's a picture of the cover, if you're curious:

As you can see, it's not by Roald Dahl. Quentin Blake's artwork has grown to symbolize Roald Dahl more than his writing (at least for me).

Ah I see, not a Roald Dahl book at all...rhymes.  Still, I wans't only referring to piratical but rumbustification as well.  And I never outright said the word was fictional anyhow, I just said it's the kind of word that makes you do a double take.

Not important, the word is what are you doing for Halloween and do you celebrate it in some way different or not at all? ;) ;D

Hey Silv, loosen up. All topics stray off topic: it's part of growing up.  ;)

Anyway, here's the first costume I chose for myself (when I was only a toddler).

It's not exactly like mine, but it has the same accessories: the most unique part of my costume was a tin-foil covered bicycle helmet. I remember every detail of my old-old-old school; those were the good-old days.  ;D

That's not me: I'm not that young, and not that naive  ;) It's just similar to mine.
I'm in high-school, not kindergarten  ;D XD

I guessed that you wasn't that young but I did think that was you and it looks as if it was taken in the last 10 years, so I just wondered. High school huh? So what age range is that, bear in mind that I am from the UK, so I guess that you might be 17 or there abouts?

Well I hope that you don't wait as long as myson did, he's just passed his driving test and got a car, and he is 34, but he did prefer a motorbike and still does really but bad weather and bikes don't go hand in hand. Today was the first time that he's been to work in bad weather and got home dry. :o

Alec and I are going to a costume wedding social (a fundraising social event, for those of you who don't live in Manitoba, aka all of you), but we haven't thought of any clever costumes yet. Ideas??

Yeah, we suck at coming up with ideas apparently.
