We were going to put statues in the other chairs at some point to make it more obvious, but it would be tricky to get that art created now.

Maybe I can shoehorn someone into make those sprites for me.

I think a clue would be pretty helpful in this situation, I've seen a number of people get stuck there.

Well the idea was to put two statues of Mithalans sitting on the other thrones. (or maybe just one) That would get people thinking in the right direction, and it would also look pretty cool.

I guess the problem is that i just didnt realize that i could actually sit on chairs. (i know how this sounds) Everytime i found a bed i knew that i can sit down there. But there hasnt been a chair before. Maybe if there would have been one earlier (maybe in the house) which introduced the players to ... well... sitting it probably would have been more obvious.  Or just put a big red arrow with a "SIT DOWN" sign on it into the background Thanks again for the help.

I guess I got lucky with this one then. I never got stuck here. I saw immediately that when I had the mouse over the chair it changed the cursor to the highlighted one to let me know that I could interact with it. It just seemed obvious to me what to do here. The only place that had me stuck for a bit was the boss that I had to trick into feeding it a poisoned creature, because it looked like I was damaging it by shooting at it in energy form.

Aeon have you found the areas where you can sitdown yet and where there isn't a chair, whatch out there are more than you think?

I used the same method as Dangermouse; i.e. my cursor lit up when it passed over the chair. What was REALLY hard were the three laser-jellyfish and their ugly spawn

You see.. i had no problem at all with the jelly fish .

I just reached this big guy in the cave. After shooting at him for 5 to 6 minutes i figured its puzzle again Puzzle disguised in an action sequence. I suck at puzzles.

My method of attacking puzzles is brute force: I bang my head against every rock, sing every combination of note, and right-click everywhere.

Maybe i am getting old but i just dont have the patience any more to try everything 5 times. I am pretty certain that i would have killed this big guy if it was only for my shooting and movment skills. I am guessing there is something else i need to do. Like lure him into those gas things or something.

It would be fine if i die 5 times because its so hard to dodge his shots or whatever.I am used to that from games like R-type and ikaruga. I am fine with that. But if i cant figure out what i need to do or how i need to do it then i am getting dicouraged. Its obviously mostly my fault. Happens to me all the time in other games aswell. I just would like to play through the game, experience the story, the artwork (which is mostly why i bought the game) and the great sound score.

EDIT: Btw... i dont have a cursor. I am playing the game with my PS3 Joypad. I know i should play it with mouse first but i think its much more enjoyable with a gamepad.

Ow! Gamepad is ok most of the time but you might find places where you will need to use the mouse, I don't think that you can jump using the game pad for instance?

I am going to guess that this big guy is the one at the end of that disgusting tunnel/intestine area at the bottom right of the Mithlas Cathedral area?

Your energy shots won't work very well on him, you need to look around for a poisoned creature to bind, fly up and grab the ceiling to stop him sucking you in and let him swallow the bound item, do this several times and he will die.
