Confirmed, Andrew told me the same thing as a side note in an email.
Maybe there's some sort of agreement with the publisher to withhold source? Just guessing.
I've been constantly nagging Alec about the source code when he was on IRC; to me it seems he isn't sure what Derek would say about it, therefore nothing moves.
(Reminds me of the
dining philosophers ?

)
I've tried to find the exact thing in my IRC logs but no success so far.
You could try linking against
regal, which does this sort of GL<->GLES encapsulation for you. But the cost would be too high, I doubt it'd run smoothly - far from it. I learned a tiny bit more about engine design in the meantime; BBGE is nice, flexible and all that, but really slow (
more info). So you'd end up with low frame rates, *if* it runs.
I'd like to see Aquaria on more devices.
Agreed. With the GLES code out, i'd love to give it a try getting this to run on a Raspberry Pi.

I've heard rumors about an OUYA release, too. That'd be cool.
