Indeed, the welcome difference is the lack of a slowly decreasing oxygen bar.
Anyone who played Ecco back in the day understands where I'm coming from with this.

Ecco was a great game, though.  Never tried the Dreamcast version, but the Genesis one was tight.

Verily, however, you can't tell me there's no "slowly" decreasing health bar associated with that.  Most painful part of any trailer released so far.
