actually, I think the fishermen may have found it near the surface. So if they did, the animal may have already been sick or dying.

actually they look more like some kind of transparent shell than a bubble.

They can be a little annoying when they are trying to move away from you and end up clogging the end of the tunnel.

sometimes I'll get damaged a bit if I really press against one, but in general they actually try to avoid you.

It's probably based off of some deep sea arthropod, but for all I know, those are completely fictional.

If it is based off of a real sea creature, Alec and Derek will know the answer.

Well, it's suppoused to be dark because the Mithalas guy is dying, so you're talking to his spirit telepathically. Or rather his soul was talking to you telepathically, not the other way around. This is kind of opinion, but I guess he was a good bieng in his soul, despite his corrupted body. Also, he must have had a more human form once, instead of the dragon-like form that you fought.

Isn't this what the mods are going to be for?

There aren't any right now because the people working on making them are still figuring out some stuff I think. We should start seeing some mods released soon, although there is a jukebox mod around.

Maybe they didn't get all of the bugs related to that because there are so many things that you can interact with. Which is understandable.

I think those are suppoused to be krill (or some other shrimp), and you see the same thing inside the whale. I just let my phirana loose in there and eventually the krill slow down.

and what secret about the fish with that parasite thing? I didn't think it had three eyes, just wierdly drawn with two eyes on one side.

It happened once when I went into one of the buildings in Mithalas, it showed me as off to the side in black space (with no rooms), I closed it and reopened it and it was fine.

I think it's just a case of the map not knowing where the heck you are since it's a 'hidden' location. It really should show you in the room where the whale is, except you're inside the whale which to the game is another map section, so it confuses the game.

I think thats the bug where you try to interact with something in spirit form, but you aren't suppoused to, so it crashes.

I believe there is a fix for this in the latest patch.

I think Alec said he was going to try and put it in the next patch, but anyways, he definetly knows about this and also thinks it's a cool idea.

Anyways, I completely agree here, it would make finding what you want/need easier.

...and then use energy form to blast the annoying things...

They are especially annoying when you are trying to attack an enemy, but at least your pet helps you out with those little parasite things.

Good thing they don't do anything else besides slow you down.

That you can actually use the spinning to suck items to you? I've just discovered this apparently and spinning creates a sort of vortex that draws in nearby items. Useful when you're trying to move quickly or going after a falling item. This is probably done best with using the r key to spin.

I didn't know what thread would be good to mention this in, so I decided to make a new one. Although I'm sure others have discovered this, but not everybody.

Anyways, to make this thread an useful one and not spam, people can post interesting facts or strange things that you have noticed, or even different ways of doing something (I'm not talking about boss battles here, although some minibosses are ok, such as the Sea Dragon)

can anybody confirm whether the yellow jellyfish in The Veil (not the Ice Veil) actually drop spicy meat 'like candy'? I'm not saying they don't drop spicy meat, its just not as often as it says.

It's possible the drop rates were changed or it's just some wierd bad streak I'm having, but I've visited the west side of the Veil which is where they mainly are, and have only had one or two spicy meat drops.

I've found another place that works well for spicy meat, in the first part of the cathendral, those flying red things drop them almost all the time, also those things that shoot the purple homing darts at you sometimes drop glowing eggs.

I think you have to do them in order. I think I actually stumbled on it by a little bit of luck as I was trying to make sure which ones were what colors and landed on the sequence apparently.

The lamps are the key to getting the pearl not singing, the one in the room with the strange octopus is not the right color anyways.

As far as getting inside the whale, I'm not sure about a particular spot, but you do have to do the song quickly
