But dude, that still doesn't make it easier. It just means that in the spare time where you are normally waiting around for the boss to do stuff, you have to dodge energy or go into spirit form.

Wait I just realised, how the heck can spirit form help you dodge energy? O_o

Spirit Form can absorb projectiles, and with every 5 projectiles absorbed, you get health added.
So, if he'd shoot more stuff, he'd really just throw more health at you than he already does.

Adding more non-homing projectiles sounds like the best idea to me... And I'm really not sure how that could possibly make it easier.

Yknow, there's at least one thing that needs to be harder: the final stage of final boss' final form. The one where he shoots that huge laser etc.
It's always a bore to just be still and wait til he decides to open his stomach to shoot the laser, so I thought it would be fun if there were some non-homing projectiles flying around in a weird pattern that you have to dodge before the laser comes.
Although then the monsters that spawn might get killed before you get em... If the projectile thing doesn't work, then maybe more monsters spawning instead of projectiles?
So yeah, those few bullets between the lasershootings just aren't enough. It feels dull without more stuff. Especially when its the last part it should be a bit more hectic.
Actually, him shooting more projectiles than he does now would only make him easier.

Are you sure it's not 3DRealms' fault for spending twelve years on a Duke Nukem game? If they expect anybody to pay money for it when it comes out, after all this time, they've got their work cut out for them when it comes to promoting it and are going to have to do a damn sight better than this. Besides, there's a difference between "following it for twelve years" and "remembering it exists once in a while over the last decade." Your statement is nonsensical!
No, my statement stands. If you don't like it anymore, simply don't buy it. I, personally, will treat it as any other game. If it is good, I'll buy it, if it isn't, I won't. But I certainly won't expect something stunning or breathtaking just because they took 12 years. If you go at every game with that attitude, you will have hard time finding a game that doesn't suck.

I mean, 1 year or 12 years. It doesn't matter. If you didn't preorder (and pay) on Year 1, there really is no reason to bitch.

To make it short: Naija hasn't endless options what she can do. So it shouldn't be so hard to figure out how to remove the helmet. Try one of her oh so many songs. Maybe the one you used when removing the helmet the first time.

Yeah I tried using bind whenever he swims by me at the cave and it doesn't work....I also tried the Li's song and he doesn't respond and come over
You have to corner him <.<
She will CLEARLY say when it is time to remove his helmet. And he won't move AT ALL during that time.

I still think that PSN is the best option.

Think about it.  With XBLA, it would indeed be possible, too, but every single mod (and I believe that Mods will play a BIG role in Aquria's future) would need to be put up there as approved DLC. So only the real top-notch quality mods approved by Alec, Derek and Microsoft would be up there, and probably cost 200 points :p
With Wii, you could be glad if you could download the game at all. The setup file for PC alone was about 200MB. That is almost half of the space the Wii has already. To that, what wingzero said about Wiimote controls isn't quite untrue. I mean, yes, they aren't a wobbly mess of craziness, and after some getting used to will work just as well as the mouse, but I can see it becoming a problem in hectic scenes, especially when there's a lot of accurate dodging required.

With PSN however, we'd have everything we need. The hardware requirements are easily met (360 and Wii do have that too, though), the space is there (even on the smallest PS3 version) and, most importantly, we'd have the ability to play mods quite easily, from what I can imagine.
Just put the mod on your USB stick, plug it in the PS3 and Aquaria can read them off there.
From my knowledge, the PS3 is the only console where this would work "just like that".

OK, granted, not many people have the PS3 and it's isn't the most popular of consoles either, but you can't deny its popularity is constantly rising and with the introduction of the 40GB model, more and more people are getting one.

In about one year, the PS3 will most likely be as widespread as the 360 is right now. And I don't think we will really see a console port anytime before then either.

So, yeah, not dissing any console here, I just worked out what appears to me to be the best solution :p

Actually, King Jelly is quite easy with just Energy and Beast Form, if you're patient enough.
At the beginning, when only spawns a few creatures and does not shoot these beams, yet, you can simply shoot away on him and avoid the mini-jellies.
When he starts shooting, however, I ALWAYS was in Beast Form, when he was shooting, eating away on the mini-jellies, and when he stopped, switched to Energy form, swam to his open spot and fired like a madman.
Then, back to beast form, swimming back and forth eating the mini-jellies and repeating this procedure.

It probably takes a tad longer this way, but is probably the easiest way to bit him.

Oh, and of course you NEED to use the Form-Shortcuts here. With singing, this boss is near impossible :p

We just gotta give it time. Aquaria has been out for like 10 days now.
A "localized" Aquaria WILL sell, no matter if it's released tomorrow or in 3 months :p
Especially since in 3 months, we would have like v2.0.0 or something with a plethora of awesome new features.
