The Perry Bible Fellowship. (http://www.pbfcomics.com)

Hmm... i read only two.
www.blastwavecomic.com
This comic is made by Kimmo Lemetti, hes finnish, but dont worry, the comic is english. It tells a tale of a wartorn world, with only three surviving factions, The Reds, The Yellows and The Blues. The comic is mainly following the red army, especially two unnamed soldiers, that wander a seemingly endless city, to find an exit. They are often caught up in hilarious situations, with other reds, and sometimes blues and yellows.

Well, this is pretty generic. Webcomic for gamers.

http://vgcats.com/ great for video game references
http://grim.snafu-comics.com/?strip_id=0 I read all of the comics shown in this site, but mostly focus on Grim Tales and Power Puff Girls (don't let the name fool you. Yes the PPG are the main characters, however, the storyline, art, and other Nickelodeon/Cartoon Network cameos are all excellent)
http://blueandblond.com// Meh, it's an ok comic about surfing (I'm not a surfer, but it has it's moments).
http://ctrlaltdel-online.com/comic.php great for video game references
http://chugworth.com/comic.php Not the funniest thing, however nice sex appeal :P
http://www.megatokyo.com/ Japanese Drama
http://duelinganalogs.com/ great for video game references
http://www.obscurezodiac.com/webpages/prologue/pro1.html It's a well drawn story about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that takes place a few years in the future (with a fifth Ninja turtle;) )
http://hail-nekoyasha.deviantart.com/gallery/?type=browse&offset=0 video game references...but mostly around Nintendo games like Super Smash Brothers characters.
http://www.reallifecomics.com/ MMORPG game references and just daily life.
http://www.explosm.net/comics/15/ A lot of dirty/dark humor
http://www.leasticoulddo.com/index2.php?date=20030210 A lot of sultry/dirty humor
http://fanboys-online.com/index.php?cid=1 Great Nintendo/Sony/Microsoft rivalry comic
http://www.pbfcomics.com/ Dark humor...
http://groups.msn.com/NarutoMangaReturns/ ok, Naruto Manga isn't technically a web comic, but it's the only way I can read the updated translated manga.
http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=574 Emo and intellectual subjects (sometimes) central (I usually read it just for the shinanigans of the character Pintsize

Megatokyo is american made, I am pretty sure.

Megatokyo is american made, I am pretty sure.
Oh I know, but it's taken place in Japan (where the drama is). I was just trying to explain each comic in a few words, and that's the only thing that came to mind to explain what MT was.

It's gotten too dramatic for me. I read a bit of it, and it all went weird, and now they're trying to use bad things to get people to come. It's just sad and 4chan's new victim, in webcomic mocking.
-
Well I made a web comic on my website www.puppettelevision.com i also have some episodes out but it's totally different from the web comic....oh and only the first issue is out
As for the episodes it's really surreal i don't expect anyone to understand the randomness and weird pigeon story..but it's funny!

-
Hahah okay. If everyone's posting links to webcomics...
Ninja spelled with 4:
http://www.ninj4comic.com (http://www.ninj4comic.com)
I write it, and I'm related to Alec, and Alec made Aquaria, so....
...it's kinda like Aquaria. </promo>
-
... I vote for you ... I'm probably the only one who does ... Maybe you should write another comic! :P
-
A Softer World (http://www.asofterworld.com) - essentially treasure
Achewood (http://www.achewood.com) - there are many days when I think that it would be OK if Achewood was the only webcomic
Astronaut Elementary (http://www.webcomicsnation.com/daveroman/ae/series.php?name=ae&view=current) - adorable
Cat and Girl (http://www.catandgirl.com) - smarter than you are
Diesel Sweeties (http://www.dieselsweeties.com) - pixels and fart jokes
Dinosaur Comics (http://www.qwantz.com) - good for Yoshis
Dr. McNinja (http://www.drmcninja.com) - a mite hit-and-miss but largely excellent
Dresden Codak (http://dresdencodak.com/) - infrequent, but generally excellent
Jerkcity (http://www.jerkcity.com/) - HUAGHLABGHALAGHA
Joe Loves Crappy Movies (http://www.http://digitalpimponline.com/strips.php?title=movie) - Cracking art
Overcompensating (http://overcompensating.com/) - Funnier than you
Patches (http://www.hingos.com/patches/) - small creatures
Perry Bible Fellowship (http://http://www.pbfcomics.com/) - yeah
Rice Boy (http://www.rice-boy.com/) - epic
Scary-Go-Round (http://www.scarygoround.com/) - irresistable, screams quality
Three Panel Soul (http://www.threepanelsoul.com) - new project from the Mac Hall boys; spotty
White Ninja (http://www.whiteninjacomics.com/) - what
Questionable Content and Megatokyo are really, really horrible comics, and it makes me pretty sad that those guys make a living off such hackwork. Megatokyo especially. That guy is a disgrace to professional cartoonists.
Also I don't need to read Ctrl-Alt-Delete because I read Penny Arcade and thus get all their punchlines a week in advance, with better art.
Edit: take me down to Typo City / where drinking beer makes Toom type shitty

http://www.bestcomicever.com//me nods
Also, another vote for Sluggy, VGCats, and throw in Partially Clips, Bunny, and The Book of Biff.

www.pennyarcade.com (http://www.pennyarcade.com) - pretty much a basic, I guess.
www.21deadmonkeys.com (http://www.21deadmonkeys.com) - for those who like da ska
www.drmcninja.com (http://www.drmcninja.com) - wtf
www.vgcats.com (http://www.vgcats.com) - yep, yep.
All the essentials :)
-
Another one for PBF Comics.
And unless I'm very blind, no-one's mentioned xkcd (http://xkcd.com) yet..
-
Man, I really wanted to like XKCD, but it just leaves me cold.
I forgot to list the rather wonderful Anders Loves Maria (http://anderslovesmaria.reneengstrom.com/) before. I am unsure of why this should be the case. Platinum Grit (http://www.platinumgrit.com) also deserves a mention; updates are few and far between, but each well worth the wait. It's fantastic stuff.
-
I just started reading Bear and Kitten (http://www.south20th.com/index.php) and am enjoying the hell out of it so far!
-
Octopus Pie (http://www.octopuspie.com/) is a good comic by Meredith Gran, formerly of Skirting Danger.
-
Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net/) I haven't read it that much lately, but I used to like everyday.
-
Too many... I'm a "bit" of a webcomic geek. Lessie....
Dominic Deegan (http://www.dominic-deegan.com)
Two Kinds (http://www.2kinds.com)
Order of the Stick (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0001.html)
Applegeeks (http://www.applegeeks.com)
Gunnerkrigg Court (http://www.gunnerkrigg.com)
are the top few, but there are about 23 more. Yes, i'm sad.
-
Sinfest (http://www.sinfest.net/) I haven't read it that much lately, but I used to like everyday.
Sinfest is brilliant, one of THE best web comics I know of.. :) ^-^ Definately an alltime favorite that's for sure.
-
but there are about 23 more. Yes, i'm sad.
Yes, that's sad. I have about 40. ;)
Not all are updating though.
I'll plug a few once I get to check the rest of he ones linked here so I don't repeat any.
And I agree that currently Sinfest must be one of the best webcomics around (it came a long way since it started)
-
You're sadder. ;) You don't mind if i bring that up to a friend of mine who's always bugging me about such geekitude, do you?
And yeah, a lot of the ones i used to read aren't updating any more, which makes me unhappy.
-
You don't mind if i bring that up to a friend of mine who's always bugging me about such geekitude, do you?
Not at all! I'm in need of a few more worshippers anyway :)
And after reading the already posted, here are a few I don't think got mentioned:
Count your sheep (http://countyoursheep.com/)
Irregular Webcomic (http://www.irregularwebcomic.net/)
Nodwick and Full Frontal Nerdity (http://nodwick.humor.gamespy.com/index.htm) (click the pics with the names)
Schlock Mercenary (http://www.schlockmercenary.com/)
Sheldon (http://www.sheldoncomics.com/)
Sherman's Lagoon (http://www.slagoon.com/cgi-bin/sviewer.pl)
-
I wrote my dissertation on online comics as a medium; ten thousand words when I handed it in, getting on for twice that now (I'm turning it into a book). Where's that on the scale?
Sinfest is beautifully drawn, but I've not read it in about two years and I don't miss it. It's just a bit...empty? I kind of feel like Ishida should be doing something a little different after what, six years? Seven?
-
Yeah I feel the same way. Plus I used to get them emailed to me and then they switched URLs or whatever and I never bothered to sign up again and they never bothered to do anything about it either so... ::)
-
Pictures For Sad Children (http://www.picturesforsadchildren.com) is pretty good.
-
I'll add my 2 cents into this then.
I'll second www.schlockmercenary.com (http://www.schlockmercenary.com). Pretty damn funny at times, and he's never missed a single day in the many years he's been doing the comic. Family-friendly too, but still has plenty of innuendo at times. Also good for science fiction lovers too.
Then there's www.somethingpositive.net (http://www.somethingpositive.net). Real funny stuff at times, yet can be emotional at times as well. Also can be just plain *wrong* at times. But in a good way. Case in point - the very first strip involves the main character giving his ex-girlfriend a baby shower gift - a wire hanger. I highly recommend it though, but it could be a bit offensive at times, and is definitely not family friendly. =P And while you are at it, check out his other related comic, Midnight Macabre.
How about a couple fantasy ones then? Firstly, there's www.realmofatland.com (http://www.realmofatland.com). Funny, twisted, bizarre, and more! And plenty of fan-service for the guys out there.
And next, there's a fairly recent one, www.lfgcomic.com (http://www.lfgcomic.com). Take a bit of World of Warcraft, Drizzt, Sword of Truth, Wheel of Time, and others, add humor, shake well, throw in a mass-murdering warlock (rather similar to 8-Bit Theater's Black Mage, but even better, and not so inept) for good measure. There's even a horribly violent movie on YouTube starring the aforementioned warlock, seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcbazH6aE2g (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcbazH6aE2g) Although, the comic itself isn't quite so violent, so don't get the wrong impression from the video. They're even supposed to me making a full length animation too.
Hmm, there's a few others I can think of. But those are the ones I try to keep up with regularly. So, I'll just end this here.
-
I have read a few, Order of the Stick (from giantitp.com), Nuklearpower.com, vgcats.com, schlockmercenary.com. That is about all I can think of at this moment.
-
http://arcana.comicgenesis.com/ While Arcana stopped, it's still worth the read for what they have.
http://geebasonparade.keenspot.com/ Feminist view of Live Action Role-Playing... Don't ask, just read.
-
The mighty James Kolchaka has finally put the American Elf (http://www.americanelf.com/) archive up for free after years of subscription-based antics (there's still a nice wedge of bonus material for subscribers though).
-
I only go to Explosm.net regularly. Other than that I'm not a huge webcomic fan although I know there are a lot of great ones out there.
-
BUMP
Holy shit dudes just look at how fucking good this fucking comic is. (http://www.perfectstars.com/)
