Well before I do that, all I see is a wallpaper and a name.  What's it about?  What genre?

Looks amazing! I'll have to make myself a pair of 3D glasses out here. Shouldn't be hard to accomplish at all. :)

You're the thoughtful one made entirely of metal, right?

Notice that it's November and there is no snow in Winnipeg! Yeah!? YEAH!
Thank you, climate change.

On a sidenote, I'm so lucky to get to see such sexy people so frequently.... even if the sexiest one is behind the camera.
Thank you, universe.

Great, it has been ages since I played 'platform' games.  This looks really good (somehow the style resembles puppet theatre, with puppets & scenes), and it's quick to learn. The beginning is a bit hasty, but there seems to somekind of shipwreck. Idea: "Run-as-far-as-you-can-before-time-runs-out", with some inventive interaction. Somekind of story or dialogue would be nice, because this has more "depth" than a average browser game. Now it's very tantalizing experience.

Too shame it hasn't got any sounds or musics (when I know there is Aquarias Alec in the project,  somehow I expect good musics   :-\, even from smaller projects).

I'm waiting great things from Infinite Ammo team... "In a nutshell, we believe that video games are not only entertainment, but art." ^-^

Played the demo for a few minutes. Lots of fun and interesting puzzles. Unfortunately, I don't have any anaglyph glasses, so I wasn't getting the intended effect, but it was still fun. Didn't beat it, though; need more practice.

Biggest negative for me: the timer. I just personally dislike timers in games. I always thought it annoying that just because some clock hit zero, Mario would up an die as if he'd been shot.

We're going to add some sounds and rework the timer stuff for the download version. The timer made sense for Gamma3D, but it makes less sense for the "home version".

At least in Winnipeg, local toy stores carry them. If not you could always scour cereal boxes ;)

* reaches into handy envelope full of 3d and spectrum refracting glasses *

holy crap this game is neat! I'll have to check the other ones out too, this is sinfully joyous amount of fun!

I've been having trouble with the game - whenever I try extracting all the files, a message comes up saying that there are duplicates of most of the files. I end up with only two of the several files that compose the game. Any ideas? Thanks.

Yeah, it seems to have that problem under Vista... I think its because the zip file was made on a Mac.

I'll work on making separate Windows + Mac downloads at some point.

Okay, thanks! I had a suspicion that was the case when there was a file named "Mac" and no "Windows" file.

Yes, I'm necroing the thread, but for good reason: The completed version of Paper Moon is live on Blurst.com (http://blurst.com/paper-moon/).

Pardon the double-post, but I have some of questions about Paper Moon that I wanted to ask, if Alec would be so kind as to answer.

The main thing I'm curious about is the back story and inspiration for the game. How much of a back story is there? How much of the game's elements relate to the back story, and how much is just an interesting environment to look at/play with? We know the environment was intended to feel like a pop-up book, but what was the inspiration for the setting?

Specific things I'm curious about in relation to the story include:

1. What is the relationship between the boy and the moon character? Who are they? Why does he pursue her?

2. What is the significance of the repeated appearance of boats in the game?

3. Why does the moon go down the well and into the cavern? (By the way, the game on Blurst.com does not remove the moon in the sky when this happens, like the beta does, so for a moment there are two moons on the screen.)

4. Why does the alternate entrance to the cavern appear to be a giant pair of jaws?

5. Why does there appear to be a huge set of doors inside the cavern? (Incidentally, is there any way the player can open them?)

6. What's with the pile of bones in the cavern? Do they have any relationship to mysterious statue behind the pile? Who is that statue guy, anyway?

7. What are the strange hooded enemies? Why do they oppose the boy?

8. The clock tower is quite prominent in the game. It is visible in the background during the first stage, and its interior composes the entire last stage. What significance does it have, if any?

There are a few different interpretations.

One has to do with time and mortality...
