The music
« on: April 20, 2007, 06:23:25 am »
I think music of game is very important.
The Aquaria has a good music.
How can you get the  music? make yourself   or  buy?

Hmm. What do you mean by this? Are you asking how we, as customers, will be able to get the music or are you asking how they, the makers, got the music?

If there are enought decent tracks then I wouldn't mind getting a sound track for it.

Are you, perhaps, not a native speaker of English?  Let me see if I understand your question:  you want to know where the music for Aquaria came from, correct?  If it was composed by the makers of the game, or if they hired someone to do it for them, or if they bought it from some third party, yes?  Is that correct?

Or are you trying to figure out how you can get the music?

Well, we wrote our own music using FLStudio. Some indie developers hire composers to write music for them too.

That means the music will fit in perfectly because the developer knows the mood best. I like it.  :)

And might I add that you did an excellent job! At least on the music in the trailer.
I absolutely love the audio tracks there. (and the voice over by Jenna Sharpe is nice too)

I can't even hear you produced it with FL Studio. It sounds very nice. Pretty much perfect, actually. The audio track that is playing in the trailer is one of the most beautiful game tracks I have ever heard.

I especially love the pulsating bass line (starting from 0:25) and the bass line starting from 1:17 is beautiful too. Of course it's only great because of the combination of the bass line with the other 'instruments'. I'll just keep it at: damn fine music. ;)
