Sounds like Zeke asked the same things I was going to ask, since I'm trying to get past Hume. Also, I wasn't sure at first whether that was where I was supposed to go, because the dialogue sounds like I should know more about Mia's father by now. Guess I'll just keep trying to beat him. I've gotten all the items I can right now.

Hume's the most badass boss, but eventually you'll beat him. Practice does a lot here. I can beat him nowadays without loosing health.

Ooh! I just beat him. I feel so good about it. This is the thing about tough parts in games; you get a sense of accomplishment when you finally beat them.

Why this game don't work properly for me?

When I start it on my Windows XP, I can play for a while, but then it hangs. Also no music.

I have to play it on DosBox emulator??

DOSBox is a tool used to play games published a decade or longer ago (e.g. Frogger). The latest version of Aquaria was designed to run on XP and Vista. Open up Aquaria, then alt+tab back to the desktop and right-click the taskbar on the bottom. Open up Task Manager and make sure you're using less than 50% CPU/RAM. Your computer might not be able to run the game - Aquaria uses a lot of anti-aliasing.

Sorry, can't help you there. You definitely don't need DosBox but I have no clue why it's not working properly...
