where is the entrance to the abyss?

Ok, so far so good. Everything has been smooth - kind of. Though i only just now - after accidentally finding a oiranha egg - that infact you can have pets in this game!!! Wonder where the rest are.. 

question: Inhere I can see that people seem to get stuck in a place called the Abyss. Great  where the h... is that place? I have been swimming around with Li - have all forms, 1 pet (!) and have been to the top of the sun temple and in those big water bubbles. Do I need something to be able to go to the Abyss?

Wonder if I am in fact too old for this - but I am hoooooked ..

I have tried Kelp, energy tempel, mithalas cathedral and swiming to and from - a bit more specific hint?

If you are in any of those you are way too high.

Go back to open waters and then go down. You'll know when you get there. (hint: it's a bit dark)

Haha, I never thought anyone would have any trouble swimming down . Look on the map. Go to any exits that are low down. Then, in the next area, look at the map. Go to any exits that are low down.

There are a few entrances to the Abyss, and they are all.. get this.. deep down.

  well - there is a first time for everything . I finally got it - I completely overlooked a whole area on the map... damn, that was embarresing
Does it help that I figured out how get up on the roof of the sun temple my self ?

Heh, a lot of people have immense trouble in the Sun temple so congrats on that .
