There are a ton of programs that can record "what-u-hear".

Unfortunately I haven't been able to get any to work on this PC, but I had then working on my old PC just fine.

Here's an endless loop of Kelp Forest, in swf version (no video, just audio):

Light, too. I didn't do the others because I didn't like them as much :D.

If you rip any more, Dozin, let me know. The Open Waters one is cool (but I'll feel stupid if that's Light or something, it's been a week or two since I played).

Hrm, if people ripped it by recording the audio from the game, then its going to be kinda crap quality.

Well, it seems that somebody has already done this  :o. And it's rather good-to-listen quality,if not really high. Oh well...

If you are going to release a real soundtrack CD, I'm willing to buy it, too  :)

Well, it beats not being able to listen to it without running Aquaria at all.

It's seems that someone extracted them from the game data file. I've just downloaded to find out how it sounds, and I have to admit that somebody made quite good work - 192 kbps in VBR. Anyways, the game's soundtrack quality with relative small size makes this music perfect for mp3 and portable players  :) It's nice to hear those tracks finally outside the game...

Although I personally don't support this kind of doings, I also understand people. If somebody has done this it's all because he couldn't live without this music  :D

Hmm... if it is recorded then encoding it to 192kbps VBR will just lessen the quality damage. Besides, it's not easy to tell the difference.

Also I remember it was in OGG format,  so I kill him if transcoding was involved.

It looks like the music was recorded during play.  44,1 KHz 16 bit 220 kbps VBR Joint Stereo MP3 according to the site.  Certainly not the best, but enough until I can buy a CD from you, Alec.

Er, I'm not quite sure how Alec would feel about a link.  He said he's alright with it being out there but I don't want to cause any trouble.  Just google what you're looking for, very easy to find actually.

Um... you want me to allow posting torrent links to pirated content?

I'd rather you guys had the patience to wait for me to put together my official soundtrack and all that. (creative control, whee)

I mean... I can't stop you from doing whatever you do on your own time. But asking me to provide you with torrent links seems messed up.

That's what I figured.
I'm certainly going to be waiting for your official soundtrack.  I actually have been making a habit of collecting game soundtracks, especially when they have extra content.  Please keep us updated with whatever information you can though; I realize good things do take time.

I'm definetely up to waiting, but I'm not going to pay for music that I have already paid for.
