Sounds great!
Maybe we'll see some awesome remixes by Aquaria fans in the near future! (not that the audio isn't already awesome)

Yeah, I have to get on that too. People have been asking for bits to resample and I still haven't figured out a good way to do that yet.

I think you just do what you can for now, and people will be happy. A few bug fixes and polishing up the tracks sounds like a good start. Then Derek will come along and clear up what else needs to be done.
Then again, I wouldn't want to delay the development of the next game.  ^-^

Just a suggestion, but if the soundtrack gets too tedious to do, you could always make an extractor that people can download to pull out the music themselves. And then the Aquaria community can make the soundtrack.

Yeah, I'd like to do it.

Right now the top priorities are probably supporting the PC version finishing the Mac version.

Yeah, We'll wait for the soundtrack  ;)

I'm just curious about one thing - if I can ask, of course. What program did you use to create music for Aquaria, Alec? You've made such a beautiful and outstanding work, and if not the music the game would look (and propably fell) quite different. I'm just asking because I started to learn about music tracking (I prefer making mods in future - less space, more useful in games), but nothing will ever replace realistically composed music  ::)

Yeah, what the hell. I mean its not like it takes time to produce a soundtrack or anything. Or like one of the dudes is on holiday so the other guy can't produce anything. I mean geez, why didn't the game take -1 year to develop (coming out in the past) that would have been great!

Hey hey hey, chill mate.  :P We love your work and would like to be able to enjoy your music outside the game.

Btw, my opinion would be to skip itunes. Anything but itunes...  :'(

damn it's true what they say.  People are never satisfied, you give them something amazing and they just ask for more , more, more. and more.

If they want a soundtrack they should just get the jukebox mod and enjoy the beautiful soundtrack that way. I have my speakers hooked up to my surround system and it's a very enjoyable listening experience.

I mean I know you guys are gods but even the great gods need some room to breathe.  You seem be getting alot of prayers hahah

I guess I can understand people wanting a soundtrack but damn ,  you guys just put in 2 yrs work and people are still unsatisfied. I sometimes wonder where society is heading these days.  I am very very appreciative of the time , passion , and dedication put into the game :) :) :) :)  i love the smileys on this forum

As for me, I will just wait patiently for the soundtrack, and if it'll be released - I'm going to get it. If not, well - there's always the jukebox mod  ;)

Quick note: Gameextractor can't seem to be able to open the data.000 file. If that can't open it, I don't know what would.

Have you considered lulu.com? They're pretty decent on the self publishing thing and would take care of a digital download type approach. If you're set on going for actual cd's i do believe mp3.com USED TO have options but im not sure if they do it anymore. I'd also give a look at cafepress although that might limit the profit margin a chunk. personally i'd love to see it on lulu.

As a side question: while its not out yet: would guy guys be interested in including remixes on the soundtrack? Or what is your policy regarding remixes in general?

Thanks a ton, good luck ith everything ^^
