spoilers!! difficult race

i cant seem to beat 1:30 in the seahorse race. argh!! my best is 1:50 using the spirit form! help! am i supposed to use the seahorses?

or you can try the fish form.

Im so dumb.. i could of used hot soup all this time.

I barely beat it in fish form and took me like 20 tries

Really?  I think it took me 3 or 4.  Can't remember which but it wasn't more than that.  The trick was knowing where the obstacles were, using fish form, boosting IN the current for extra fast-ness, and of course, using spirit form as soon as I was able.  I really didn't find it difficult.  Of course I don't know how to tell what my time was, I just remember I beat it.  For all I know it beat it in 1:29.

Huh...I didn't use spirit mode...

I just used soup and beast mode. Bouncing off walls makes you really really fast if you do it right.

i think you can pull it off easily if you actually ride one of the seahorses, i've never tried though, i didn't find out that you could ride them until after i beat the race

personally, i used hot soup and beast form, got in about 1:26 i think.

supposedly you can use spirit form since it stops time, but i could never pull it off like that, it's just so much work to memorize the exact distance you could travel like that, and i didn't know about the shortcuts for changing forms

I tried using the seahorses. If you are riding one when the race starts, you come off it.
I suppose you could go backwards and get one after starting the race...

I did it first try, not using spirit form, with 1:29 time .

I did do it like just before going to the Body, though, so I was pretty much as used to the controls as a person could ever be.

I said it was irrational b/c his picture is from fruits basket and he turns into a cow.  Cows are not fast.
