I don't think their "approach" is anything more complex than publishing games without stealing the associated IP. For a lot of independent game companies, that's a good deal, but I sort of think that Aquaria has built up enough publicity on its own, that it's not a good match.

That said, I do like Gamecock, and I do think the rooster is cool.

Well when the game/demo comes out its definately going on my blog/comic site.

I already got ten in line. I say we support our Indie developers who truly have the knowledge and talent to create what so many commercial $60 or $50 games try to imitate for a quick buck. Indie popularity has got a long way to go yet, but Alec and Derek are doing there part in bringing it there.  ;)

To make this post relevant to the thread..... Aquaria rules and giant cocks don't :o (shame on your perverted mind, there's no such thing as giant roosters).  ???

I personally can wait for the game, it will just be difficult, all I ask is PLEASE don't release it either near Oct 10 (Orange Box release) or December 5th (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

Haha, of course it does. I mean, HL2:Ep2 will be "short"... 5-7 hours of gameplay, with replayability. Same for Portal, I red somewhere that you could run through its thirtyish level in a few hours as well.

Though I'm a casual gamer (not a hardcore anymore... got a life now :D ) I'm sure we'll be able to know what to prioritize.
At least, I do... water is blue, and my favorite color is blue.

Oh I didn't mean I wouldn't play it if it came out then, it just means that if it did come out then I would be torn between them and end up playing them both instead of working, sleeping or doing much needed homework.
Ive been falling behind on some prior commitments Like, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 3, LOTRO, which is why I am slighty glad of the delay.
I also will not let myself get a portable system because I play enough when I'm at home, I dont need the distraction in my pocket.

Orange Box is a Package containing  those games: Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. ( Wikipedia rulez : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Orange_Box )

It is not that literral box that provides people with internet, cable TV, Phone and Recorder... and it is distributed by Steam/Valve, not by Orange (the internet company I believe :D). Guess the misunderstanding was normal here...

Back to the topic : a soundtrack would be nice indeed! Are you planning to release one?
