*spoilers* stuck in the abyss

I believe I missed something where I heard a voice.  I didn't find anything at the time and now I don't know where that was.  I'm not excited about having to comb the Abyss all over again for the 3rd time, can anyone tell me exactly where I need to go?  This location could really use a landmark icon on the map.  Still digging the game a lot.

Could you be more specific? have you opened the great door yet? have you found it? what form have you got etc...

I have Li, Sun, and Spirit form.  Killed the jellyfish boss and the crab above the ice lake.  I'm left with a door with Li's symbol, a giant tongue among spikes, a pearl-activated door, and an apathetic whale.  There was a post on here talking about the voice I heard so I wonder if that is what I need.

Ill give you a few hints, if you want better hints u can ask for more.

First of all, the whale serves a purpuse... maybe you havent scouted other areas than the abyss. Such as the areas just above?

The door can be opened if Naija gets some help.

The "pearldoor" you cant open and the whale is the same problem.

The giant door problem is really easy when you know it, try a few things when you are there... why not start with the most obvious?
