Video capture in Linux (aka FRAPS for Linux)
« on: December 13, 2007, 11:15:15 pm »
Hi, guys.

If one of the Wine users would like to record a video capture, I think GLC is the best option.
GLC captures the video and sound with almost no overhead.

I can run the game at 1024x768 with all effects enabled in Wine in Compiz-Fusion
and record with GLC on my laptop without any slowdowns.

The only problem for me right now is that I can't seem to record the sound in Wine with GLC.
Other OpenGL/Alsa applications record fine with GLC, so I'll have to figure out what that's about..
It probably has to do something with the way Alsa is used in Wine.
