Vsync Issues
« on: December 13, 2007, 07:48:08 pm »
Note: turning off Vsync is fine if your game runs < 60fps, but if you're running 100 + you may run into problems with vsync off.

One notable area with problems is the Boss in Mithalas. (his suction attack won't work)

So yeah, if you can run the game fine with Vsync on, keep it on. :)

If the game only runs with Vsync off, you may have issues with your video card. Its better to update your video card drivers in that case.

I'm guessing there's a difference between the driver vsync and the games then.  I have both on and I'm actually getting noticeable lag :(

I'll try messing with my driver settings I guess.
Bless this mess.

well as long as the game runs around 60 fps, you're good.

So there was a frame rate dependency issue, but now its been fixed. It'll be in the next patch.
