I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this yet: How about the Giant Squid?


Though I'm beginning to believe that the main protagonist of Aquaria is an oversized caricature of a sea-monkey (compared to the size of other creatures of the seas shown in the screenshots such as seahorses, turtles, angler fish, etc...), maybe a Giant Squid would be too large for her to fight (since we've seen her battle inside what looks to be a jellyfish).

That's a giant squid? Is it a baby version because the last I knew, the picture I posted was the most detailed picture we have of an actual giant squid (what I mean by "actual" is an adult). I'd honestly imagine the giant squid to be almost as long as a humpback whale...not just double the size of a regular squid like the picture implies.

Yeah, the Squid you posted is the most detailed and documented live Giant Squid encounter. The Squid I posted it actually known as a Glowing Squid because it glows, it was the only one caught on camera as far as I know.  It is, however, very big.

I don't know how big the one you posted is. Here are a few images the could give you a clearer picture:
