What about the post about the land-based feminist, hmm? That was a hoax, although a funnier one. Here are a few interesting creatures to satisfy your exquisite taste  ;):

The Cow Fish

So that's where Naija gets her milk!

El Dorado (Not the city)  ;) The most beautiful fish I've seen.

It would be amazing to have Derek paint one of those.

EDIT: (I know the Dorado isn't weird, but wanted to include it anyway) Sorry Silver!

I don't know Chibi they both look a little weird to me and weird isn't just associated with ugly, so the dorado is a beaty but it is also rather weird with that bull like head, and the cow fish is just really cute looking lol

Land based feminist, now there is a rarety, especially around here for some reason but they were rife in Manchester back in 1974 :o but they really are weird lol

That is hilarious!  :)

Are you going to post it on the website? BTW, glad to see you back on the forums (even if it's for the last time) We were missing you. Welcome back!

And I have to say, the Preditory Tunicate in the game looks exactly like its real life counterpart!

Just so long as it doesn't latch on to me if I get in the sea it's ok even if it isn't the prettiest creature on Gods Earth lol

I assume that many of you folks out there have met these adorable little creatures before. Just one underwater creature, though, and it's depicted leaping out of water... hmm. Anyhow: enjoy.

Very good site - I found the Afghan Ape a little disturbing (the animal version of the uncanny valley)  :) Made my bookmark list.

The most beautiful fish I've seen.
If you want a beautiful fish... Check out the Lunare Wrasse

When I get my 180G dream saltwater aquarium set up some day, I'm definitely getting one... they're fascinating fish with a knack for mischief.

Also... I know somebody has already posted a pic of a peacock mantis shrimp (it's on the first page)...  but due to the fact that stomatopods (mantis shrimp aren't actually shrimp, they're stomatopods) are the coolest animals in the world... I wanted to add this link www.blueboard.com/mantis/  Check out the stuff under introduction on the right hand side... they're amazing creatures
